This is a combination of chore, companion, and homemaker services. Thus it includes the following:
Maintain the client’s residence and property in a clean, sanitary, and safe environment. Perform other routine housekeeping duties such as making beds, changing linens, meal preparation, and laundering of client’s garments, as well as light shopping when authorized. Provide companionship for the client. Perform casual cosmetic assistance, such as brushing the client’s hair, assisting with make-up, filing and polishing nails with the exception of clipping nails for diabetic patients. Report unusual incidents and changes in the patient’s/client’s condition to the nursing supervisor.
